Kennywood will be kicking off 2025 with a bang, featuring its best-ever event lineup, newly themed attractions, and record-breaking thrills that will keep guests of all ages coming back for more.
The fun begins this spring with the all-new Eggcellent Easter Celebration event and the opening of Kennywood Junction, a newly themed area featuring 5 family rides. Then enjoy Bites and Pints, Celebrate Pittsburgh, Phantom Fall Fest - including a new haunt in 2025 - and more super-sized festivals! Plus, the Steel Curtain roller coaster is back for more rides, more thrills and more screams.
An Easter Celebration
Beginning on April 12, the park celebrates 412 Day and the start of a new season with festive decorations, larger-than-life egg displays, and chocolate bunnies around every corner. Guests will also enjoy an interactive scavenger hunt for eggs and have the chance to meet Tuft, the Kennywood Easter Bunny. This springtime celebration will run every Saturday and Sunday through April 27, making it the perfect way to jumpstart the season.
Kennywood Junction
A major highlight for families this year is the grand opening of Kennywood Junction, a newly themed area designed for fun and adventure. Replacing the Thomas Town area, this will pay homage to a small steel town and features five newly themed family rides that guests of all ages can enjoy together.
Visitors will have the chance to practice their firefighting skills with the local fire department, help Kenny transport cargo, and take a helicopter tour with Parker. A trip on the historic Olde Kennywood Railroad will also provide a charming journey through the park's past. Kennywood Junction is sure to become a favorite spot for families seeking both fun and nostalgia.
