SeaWorld Orlando is set to transport guests to one of the most remote and awe-inspiring regions of the world in its new Arctic-themed flying theater, slated to open in Spring 2025.

This immersive indoor attraction promises a thrilling adventure through the polar wilderness, offering an unprecedented view of the icy terrains, frozen waters, and the diverse wildlife that inhabits the Arctic.

The new flying theater will take visitors on an exhilarating journey, allowing them to soar over snow-covered landscapes and glide beneath the surface of frozen seas. Along the way, guests will encounter iconic Arctic creatures such as beluga whales, orcas, and walruses, as well as the stunning natural phenomenon of the northern lights.

Jon Peterson, president of SeaWorld Orlando, said:

“We are thrilled to introduce this first-of-its-kind attraction to SeaWorld Orlando. This indoor immersive flying theater experience reinforces our commitment to education, animal care, and research.”

The flying theater will feature two multi-level theaters, each able to accommodate 30 guests, creating an intimate yet awe-inspiring experience. To capture the essence of the Arctic, SeaWorld has worked with an award-winning production team and custom-built filming equipment, enabling them to film in some of the most remote and challenging environments in the region. The result is a stunning visual journey that showcases the rarely seen beauty of the Arctic’s snow-capped mountains, crystal-clear waters, and thriving marine life.

The experience is designed to offer a multi-sensory adventure, with sights and sounds that bring the beauty and mystery of the Arctic to life. It follows the recent opening of Penguin Trek, a family-friendly launch coaster that takes riders through the park’s Antarctica realm. With its combination of thrilling rides and educational experiences, SeaWorld Orlando continues to innovate and offer visitors new ways to engage with the natural world.

Opening in Spring 2025, the Arctic-themed flying theater promises to be a must-see attraction at SeaWorld Orlando, offering unforgettable memories for guests of all ages while showcasing the wonders of one of the Earth’s most remarkable regions.
