Peppa Pig fans in Texas can now step into their favorite animated world as Merlin Entertainments opens its third Peppa Pig Theme Park, marking an exciting new chapter for the beloved character. The attraction is an investment of over $40 million and promises endless adventures for families with young children.
The grand opening event was attended by Fiona Eastwood, the newly appointed CEO of Merlin Entertainments, alongside representatives from Hasbro, the iconic toy and game company. The event was, of course, led by Peppa Pig herself and her friends, bringing the magical world of Peppa to life in front of excited guests.
This latest addition to Merlin Entertainments’ global portfolio follows the success of Peppa Pig theme parks in Florida and Günzburg, Germany. Unlike its predecessors, the Dallas-Fort Worth park stands as the first Peppa Pig park to be established as a standalone destination, further demonstrating the growing appeal of Peppa Pig among families worldwide.

The Dallas-Fort Worth park is the 11th implementation of the Peppa Pig brand across Merlin’s global estate. In addition to the theme parks, the brand can also be experienced in World of Play locations across the U.S., Europe, and China, along with smaller Peppa Pig-themed areas at existing resorts.

One of the standout features of the new Peppa Pig Theme Park is its commitment to inclusivity. The park has been certified as an Autism Centre by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), ensuring that families of all abilities can enjoy the attractions. With wheelchair-accessible paths, sensory-friendly spaces, and detailed guides, families can plan a day suited to their specific needs, making it an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Rides, Play Areas, and Live Shows
The Peppa Pig Theme Park is designed for younger thrill-seekers, with a variety of attractions that allow kids to immerse themselves in the world of their favorite characters. Five exciting rides include:
- Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster – A gentle, first coaster experience for little adventurers.
- Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure – A prehistoric journey where kids can hop on a dinosaur and explore volcanoes and mountains.
- Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride – Offering a soaring view of the park, this ride is equipped with a wheelchair-accessible basket, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience.
In addition to these rides, the park offers nine themed play areas where children can engage in imaginative play, such as Peppa’s Treehouse, George’s Fort, and Rebecca Rabbit’s Playground. The Muddy Puddles Splash Pad, featuring fountains and slides, invites kids to cool off and have fun in a hands-on, water-filled adventure.
The park also features live performances at Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena, where guests can enjoy entertaining shows with their favorite Peppa Pig characters, followed by meet-and-greets with the stars of the show.
